From CPA to Career Mentor
Before entering global recruitment, I was a CPA in accounting. While I enjoyed the work, I never truly felt fulfilled. Despite hard work and dedication, I lacked the mentorship and coaching I needed to move forward confidently. After years of good (but not great) results, I found myself jobless and reflecting on my career. A random encounter in a food court on Bay Street (Toronto’s Wall Street) led me into a new career within recruitment, where I learned firsthand the tools, techniques, and skills required to succeed in the corporate world. I discovered how much of career success isn’t taught in the formal education system or professional programs, and that was my moment of revelation I am here to share with you today.
