A leading provider of global real estate management services is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Financial Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of financial management services related to client agreements with some of this organization’s largest relationships.
This role will be a key business partner among a high-performing team, where you will be performing financial statement compilation, financial planning, and analysis, and providing decision support on complex contractual and financial matters. Additionally, this role offers the potential for fast-tracking to a Management position.
The Senior Financial Analyst will act as a strategic business partner to both internal and external stakeholders of the client.

About the Role
- Build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external clients
- Operate as a subject matter expert of the industry, able to answer key questions and provide insights in a timely manner
- Contribute to key decision-making processes and take ownership of provided information
- Collaborate with leadership to present material items with solutions
- Produce transactional data and in-depth analyses to aid operational decision-making, including recommendations
- Ensure compliance and document back-up for key operational reporting processes
- Conduct root cause analysis on process gaps and recommend major process improvements
- Contribute to creating draft policies, internal controls, and procedures
- Track and report on financial obligations within portfolios, conducting investigations and interpretations as needed
- Ensure timely and efficient delivery of financial deliverables for assigned portfolios
- Support financial statement preparation and participate in reporting period-end management reporting packages
- Provide intricate transactional support for specific processes within the accounting cycle
- Complete and resolve complex or high-volume account reconciliations
- Identify and resolve complex transactional accounting discrepancies, recommending solutions as needed
- Track forecasted annual performance and provide recommendations or assistance with action plans
- Prepare comprehensive financial analyses, regularly scheduled and ad-hoc, with recommendations for stakeholders
- Build and review internal and external reports for stakeholders
- Support the creation of evaluation materials for key business decisions
- Prepare complex forecasts, both for internal and external purposes, with thorough backup documentation
- Collaborate with stakeholders in preparing forecasts
About the Candidate
- Canadian University graduate
- Professional accounting designation (CPA, CA, CPA, CMA, or CGA) – in process or completed
- Deep understanding of accounting systems and operational system interdependencies
- Proficiency with computer applications (Excel, SAP, JDE, Oracle, PowerPoint)
- Strong attention to detail, ability to work well under pressure, and adjust to competing priorities
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Potential to motivate, develop, and manage staff in the future
