Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic Senior Project Manager to collaborate closely with our Director of Production and Account Lead, ensuring seamless execution of production of digital advertising and promotional projects. This role demands overseeing and managing a significant volume of creative production assets in a vibrant and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will adeptly handle evolving timelines while ensuring the creative output aligns with strategic objectives and high-quality standards.
The Senior Project Manager will be pivotal in driving business success by enhancing project outcomes, improving client satisfaction, and fostering strong vendor relationships. This position is crucial to achieving our strategic objectives within the digital marketing landscape.
Responsibilities
- Exhibit a strong understanding of digital creative production methodologies and processes.
- Lead and motivate multidisciplinary teams to deliver outstanding results in a fast-paced, multi-project setting.
- Contribute to ongoing strategy and planning for both agency and client.
- Monitor work progress proactively to ensure timely task completion and obstacle removal.
- Act as a supportive partner to clients and advocate for the organization’s interests.
- Collaborate with Account Leads to manage client expectations effectively.
- Anticipate client needs throughout the creative process proactively.
- Maintain positive relationships with clients and partners through daily communication.
- Demonstrate leadership, communication, and negotiation skills to guide teams in ambiguous environments.
- Align project outcomes with business strategies and market trends.
- Partner with internal teams and agency partners to improve processes continuously.
- Create and manage timelines for the entire creative production lifecycle.
- Oversee multiple projects concurrently under time constraints.
- Manage project risks and issues with minimal disruption.
- Develop contingency plans proactively for project management.
- Ensure smooth transitions of deliverables from design to production/operations teams.
- Utilize and manage project resources efficiently.
- Monitor financial aspects, including budget adherence and reporting.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Uphold project management best practices and quality standards.
- Contribute to the improvement of internal processes.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of 5+ years of project management experience handling high-volume creative production projects.
- Advertising/Marketing agency experience preferred, especially in the Quick Service Restaurant industry.
- Experience implementing change and process improvements.
- Strong grasp of Project Management best practices in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Proficiency in Project Management tools such as Monday, Smartsheet, and JIRA.
- Proven ability to manage changing timelines and project plans while maintaining strategic objectives and quality standards.
- Experience in mentoring and coaching junior project managers.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate cross-functional teams.
- Comfortable working with ambiguous project requirements.
- Background in digital marketing with a strategic and roadmap-focused approach.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent experience is desirable.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and motivated.
- Assertive, proactive self-starter and collaborative team player.
- Adaptable multi-tasker who welcomes new challenges.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, able to stay calm under pressure.
