Our client is a leader in property development and management, serving high-net-worth corporations and individuals. They provide a full scope of services, including retail acquisitions, land development, project management, real estate management, and asset property management. Position Overview

We are recruiting for an Accountant on behalf of our client, a company in the real estate and property development industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing accounts payable functions and general bookkeeping duties. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Process invoices and ensure timely payments to vendors
  • Reconcile accounts payable transactions
  • Maintain accurate financial records and documents
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Handle general bookkeeping duties, including bank reconciliations and journal entries
  • Work closely with the finance team to ensure compliance with internal controls
  • Manage vendor communications and resolve discrepancies
  • Assist with various financial tasks as required
About the Candidate
  • Must be able to work 5 days a week in office
  • Preference given to those with construction experience
  • 2 to 3 years in a complex AP environment or general accounting function
  • Experience with a major ERP system is a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with willingness to train and lead others
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office – Word and Excel
  • Willingness to take on new challenges, responsibilities, and assignments
  • Desire to work in a diverse, collaborative, and driven professional environment
